From the Garden to the table

 Finally, the time has come to celebrate the fruit of our hard work. Today, two members of the community who had been very instrumental in our Gardening project helped with harvesting kumara from our gardens. A very big thank you to Malia Griffiths and Maria Griffiths for their contributions despite the tough time we all faced in 2021. 

They also picked some taro leaves from the taro garden. These two generous people have offered to prepare a meal with Kumara and taro leaves and share it with the students who had been part of the gardening project.
