Te Mahi Kaute - Counting in Te Reo Maori

  1. Hi Room 10, my name is Jaelyn - Marie and I am a year 6 student from Paihia School. I really like your blog post because your DLO is very amazing. I also like your blog post because the pictures you added matched what you were saying and the gif you added was funny. From your blog post I learnt that kotahi rau means 100, rua rau means 200, toru rau means 300, etc. I haven’t done anything like this before but I would like to do this someday because it is very interesting and I will be able to learn new things from this and teach other people like you did to me.
What was something you already knew how to pronounce in Te Reo Maori?

  2. Hi Room 10,
It's Hunter from Ahipara school. Your counting in te reo is really cool. Maybe next time you could turn it into a google drawing. Ka pai.
