WOW! I had no idea who Grace Hopper was until I read this interesting poster. Thank you for sharing your learning. I will be sure to show Room 9 students this!

Same with me Miss Smith.
DeleteHi Room 10, Carter from Paroa School here, your Tuhi Mai Tuhi atu buddies! Really cool and amazing poster you made there! I really think you put alot of effort into this piece.
ReplyDeleteI recentley did an SRA Reading card activity on Grace Murray hopper
Some add ons you could put is what Grace Murray did and some of her history, Grace was rejected from College after failing her Latin entry exam. That is a really big piece of her history, and that after retring from the WAVES Grace went on to lecture students. She also invented COBOL, a common computer language for computers to understand humn language by traslating it and also being able to send it to other computers.
Other than that I really like this post and hope to see more of your quality work.
Carter.
Hi Room 10, Max from Paroa School here. This is a very factual piece of work you've done . It is amazing how she helped make that computer. Next time maybe put a few more facts in there.
ReplyDeleteWow we owe this lady a lot because we love using computers. Great blog post. I did not know about her until now. You learn something everyday right? Thank you Room 10.
